Aralyn and Matthew are just the cutest and I loved photographing their Adriatica Village engagement session! After meeting almost four years ago, they’re now planning a romantic January wedding at Ashton Gardens. We met up to photograph their engagement session and it was seriously the most fun! Aralyn and Matthew just make each other laugh and smile so much that my job was ridiculously easy during their shoot. When I first met Aralyn, like I do with all of my couples, we had a really fun time walking around through Target and talking about her wedding, their relationship – oh, and of course all of the cute stuff we just had to have for our houses! Thanks for that, Target!
Adriatica Village Engagement Session
We planned their engagement photos at Adriatica Village. It’s a beautiful spot here in McKinney TX styled after an old European village. With so many gorgeous nooks and crannies, we never ran out of spots to use for their photos. Aralyn and Matthew wanted to do something really enjoyable and special for their portraits, so we planned a picnic with wine and a champagne toast for them. I honestly LOVED every moment. I think more couples should plan something like this for their photos!!
Not only was it fun to photograph, but it kept Aralyn and Matthew occupied so they weren’t nervous and could just enjoy their time together. When you can just relax, that means I get the chance to photograph you how you are naturally – without me there. And Aralyn and Matthew are a joyful and silly couple. I just love how clearly that comes out through their portraits.
