Congratulations to Kelly and Joey! They’re officially husband and wife!! I loved every moment of their Stonebriar Country Club wedding day. There was just something extra special about Kelly and Joey’s day. It was clear that they’re surrounded by love and support, and so many people who are thrilled they’ve found each other. Their entire day was infused with details that just screamed them, including Kelly and her mother’s love of blue and white porcelain.

Kelly got ready at the beautiful Omni Hotel in Frisco, TX. Honestly, it was a gorgeous spot for getting ready portraits because of the modern lines and decor. Kelly and Joey decided to not have a bridal party, so instead, her family was with her helping her get ready. Once she was ready, Kelly had the sweetest first look with her dad, full of lots of emotions which were only amplified when he married her and Joey later in the day. And Joey was able to have a first look with his mom, too! I absolutely loved that idea. Although Kelly and Joey decided to skip a first look for themselves, it was super fun to capture those special moments with their parents.

Stonebriar Country Club Wedding Ceremony

Like I mentioned, Kelly and her mom collect vases and pottery with that blue and white pattern we all know. What I really loved about Kelly is that she used this pattern and color scheme that clearly means a lot to her and her mom throughout her wedding day. Oh, and her engagement photos too! LIttle things like the ribbon on her bouquet, their invitation suite, the cake decorations, and the stool she stood on during the ceremony pulled the color palette together.

I hope you didn’t miss that I said “stool” there! Kelly is known for being short, while Joey is… not. So as a little fun during their ceremony, Kelly had a family member hide a step stool during their vows. Before their first kiss as husband and wife, Kelly grabbed the stool so that she and Joey could be face to face during their first kiss. Everyone was laughing hysterically!! I absolutely LOVED it. You know I love my clients having a blast!!

Kelly and Joey, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! The sunset photos at the end of the night still seem unreal to me, and honestly, so much of your day does, too. I’m still in awe of how much research you did to find the best vendors in the area and that you wanted me with you. You’re two of the best people I’ve ever met and worked with and I truly am just so happy that you found each other!! Congratulations again!
