The weekend of Seselly and Chase’s wedding was crazy! I photographed Catherine and Matthew’s wedding the same weekend – and let me tell you, those double header weekends are long. But so worth it! I loved getting to see TWO of my incredible couples say “I do”. Seselly and Chase’s Whispering Oaks wedding day was absolutely stunning and a lot of fun. They’re such a beautiful couple (inside and out!) and I’m so happy I could be with them on their big day.
Whispering Oaks Wedding
When we began planning their timeline, Seselly and Chase knew they wanted to do a few first looks. Not just one for the two of them. Chase and his mom and one while Seselly had a first look with both her dad and her bridesmaids. After all of those reveals were done, it was time for Seselly and Chase to meet. We convinced Chase that Seselly would be coming up in front of him, but she was actually behind the barn doors behind him. It was a fantastic reveal for them both! What a special moment!!! And Seselly looked incredible! She chose the perfect gown and veil. And she’s just super gorgeous anyway (so not fair!), so she looked amazing all day long.
What I love about Chase and Seselly is that they just adore each other. They spent their whole reception dancing together and with their friends, which you don’t always see. They took time to enjoy the photo booth and just had fun. One of my favorite moments from the entire night was during their last dance. I decided to step outside and grab a dramatic shot from outside the barn doors, which was just amazing. It really captures that special, quiet moment between them both. When it was time for their sparkler exit, I told Chase to lift Seselly up like he did at their engagement photos. They two-step together and so I knew it would be a fun skill to show off on their wedding day. It turned out to be such a cool moment.
Congratulations, Chase and Seselly! I hope your love story continues for many years to come and you have so much happiness in your lives together.
